ADULT SMALL GROUPS – THIRD TERM FEEDBACK:
Tuesday mornings at 10:00 (not during the holidays) our adult (men and women) group meet at 17 Vink Street, Avian Park. The group support each other with the ‘keys’ they’ve been taught to turn negative things into positive endings.
Out of this group, women in the community were invited for a Budget-Friendly Food Demonstration on Women’s Day during August. Twenty women attended the morning which was presented by Desiree Wesche. She shared a (step-by-step) budget-friendly chicken pasta meal with an easy to prepare, freshly baked bread of which the women received the recipes. Afterwards everybody enjoyed the chicken pasta meal and the fresh bread for lunch.
It was a very informative morning with lots of heartfelt stories.
